We're excited to welcome you to a Photo Walk & Zine Making Workshop with Anne from No! Wahala Media at the Unofficial Stretford Museum.
Spring has sprung this March with Stretford Socials!
This month we're loving all things spring so come along for a day filled with spring crafts, storytime, and the chance to grab your mother’s day gifts. Head to Stretford Town Centre, 12 - 4pm on Saturday 2nd March to join in the fun.
Discover a diverse range of handmade gifts, fashion, sweet treats and unique crafts from our traders. From artisan jewellery to local preserves, craft kits to chair massages, there's something for everyone!
Storytime with Carol Nelson, 12 - 12.30 pm in Unit 37-38 (the old Bon Marche unit)
Dive into a world of storytelling magic with ‘Dolly May and the Magical Enchanted Garden’. Carol Nelson, a local author, will be reading to children with a storytime session.
Carol will also be manning a book stand with lots of different books created by local authors available to purchase.
Spring Craft Workshop by Artventures, 12:00 - 4:00 pm in Unit 37-38 (the old Bon Marche unit)
With two separate activity stations, have a go at collaging or paper flower making. The perfect activity in the run up to Mother's Day!
Dance Class with Topaz Dance, 1:00 - 2.00 pm in Unit 37-38 (the old Bon Marche unit)
Starting with a warm-up line dance, featuring basic merengue and followed by some easy cha-cha-cha steps then ending in a lively 'Barbie' themed line dance. Let loose and keep the energy flowing with Topaz Dance.
