The Stretford Socials return on Saturday 5th July from 11-3pm. You know the drill by now, expect local traders, bakers and community groups, plus live music and a chance to flex those creative muscles with Education2Realisation (more info below!). Jamminontherox are also joining the fun with their mouth watering Jamaican style patties.
Free Art Workshop for Young Creatives
Join us for a free art workshop led by Education2Realisation on Saturday 5th July, 11am–2.3pm in the former Stitched Up unit. Open to children and young people aged 18 and under, the session will be a chance to get creative, learn new techniques, and produce artwork that can be entered into this year’s Carol P Duhaney Art Competition.
All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a community celebration of creativity, with winning entries displayed locally and celebrated at an award ceremony at Flixton House in September.
