We're excited to welcome you to a Photo Walk & Zine Making Workshop with Anne from No! Wahala Media at the Unofficial Stretford Museum.
Get ready, Stretford! This year, we're making history with our very first town centre Christmas Light Switch-On event! Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15th - from 2pm - 10pm, it's going to be a spectacular day packed with music, community fun, festive treats, and, of course, that magical moment when the lights turn on at 6pm sharp.

We've teamed up with the fantastic team at Feel Weird Studios to curate an incredible day of entertainment. They're showcasing the amazing local talent right here in Stretford, featuring 12 local bands that live, work, and practice in our town!
The music starts at 2:00 PM and will keep the festive vibes going all the way until 10:00 PM, so come down and support your local scene!

Creative Workshops: Expect the unexpected with Stretford Stride, forget the tinsel and think doodling and decorating traffic cones - Stretford style. FREE and open to all, just drop in! All materials provided.
Festive Treats: Get a taste of Christmas with Stretford Canteen, who are planning to serve up some delicious mince pies!
Warming Drinks: Rainy Heart will be running a full bar, offering a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including everyone's favourite festive tipple: mulled wine!
The Christmas Lights will be switched on at 6:00 PM by Leader of the Council, Tom Ross!
Gather with your friends, family, and neighbours to count down and watch Stretford town centre sparkle for the very first time this festive season.
