LOUNGERS OPENING ITS DOORS IN STRETFORD TOWN CENTRE
Loungers have announced plans to open a bespoke café and bar “Fosforo Lounge” on King Street in Stretford town centre.
Created with the community, the museum brings together historic artefacts, local memories, personal collections and creative projects that explore Stretford's rich heritage, history and culture. The response to the first run was incredible, with the community sharing stories, uncovering hidden histories and helping to build a vibrant picture of the town's past and present.
Now, as the museum enters its next chapter, we're inviting even more people to get involved. Alongside a new programme of commissions, workshops and events, the museum remains a space for sharing stories, discovering local history and connecting with others who care about Stretford and its future.
As Stretford continues to grow and change, the museum offers a chance to reflect on where we've come from, celebrate the people who have shaped the town, and help imagine what comes next.
